RI State Council of the Arts chooses Deck Nieforth, Luthier, as craftsman to represent RI--

ENVOYE A MAISON!--A Franco-American Homecoming--is a cultural exchange project celebrating the 400th anniversary of Quebec City and creating bonds between Quebec and the States of NY, VT, and RI through a series of performances, workshops and crafts demonstrations by arrtists from both sides of the border.

Locally sponsored by RISCA in partnership with an international team of arts councils, the RI event will be on September 27, with an afternoon of artisans demonstrating their skills at St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center, Cumberland St., Woonsocket, and Le Foyer hosting a live musical and Canadian Dinner at Le Foyer Club, 151 Fountain St., Pawtucket.
